Fiber Optic Internet Service

JTN is making the investment to deliver fiber optic internet service to rural areas of Dakota County.  Fiber optic service is the fastest and most future-proof way to connect to the internet. Unlike wireless, fiber interconnects your home or business with a physical cable that uses light to transmit data over distance.  It is a widely used technology that is likely to overtake copper (DSL) and coaxial (cable) services in the future.    We’re committed to connecting as many homes to fiber as possible in the coming years.  Your interest in receiving service will assist us in making decisions about where to deliver service rurally.

Eureka Center Project

This project was made possible by funding from the State of Minnesota’s Border to Border Broadband Program. Eureka Township also contributed matching funding to the program. The project design has the ability to be expanded upon to serve the greatest number of homes within the township.
